THE ROUTE

1° DAY | Arrival in Levico Terme

Briefing with the tour leader, overview of the tour, overnight in Levico Terme with its charming lake, surrounded by mountains

2° DAY 65 km | Levico – Bassano del Grappa

Leaving the lakes Levico and Caldonazzo the bike tour starts. Along the Brenta river, through typical middle-aged and baroque style villages such us Borgo Valsugana.

After a coffee break, we go along the Valsugana reaching finally Bassano del Grappa with its countless distilleries and the historical bridge “Ponte degli Alpini”

3° DAY 60 km | Bassano del Grappa - Treviso

Cycling through Asolo, known as "The City of a Hundred Horizons" for its mountain settings and home to many famous personalities like the English poet Robert Browning, the actress Eleonora Duse, and the composer Gian Francesco Malipiero, we go further reaching the Villas of the famous architect Palladio. Further on we visit Treviso, very nice corner of Veneto.

4° DAY 40 km | Bassano del Grappa – Marostica - Vicenza

The middle-aged city Marostica will surprise you especially with its main square where it take place the human chess game. The second tip of the day is Vicenza, the “City of Palladio”, where the worldwide famous architect has been working for a long time creating many beautiful monuments such us the “Basilica Palladina” and the “Loggia del Capitano”

Overnight in Abano

5° DAY 50 km | Euganean Hills - Montagnana

We cycle at the foot of the Euganean Hills, volcanic region which still maintains geothermal activity (hot springs, hot mud) in the spas areas of Abano Terme and Montegrotto Terme. Enjoying around this protected area, we reach Montagnana with its 12 km of city – wall and 24 the middle-aged towers.

6° DAY 50 km | Abano - Fusina

Today we follow the old bed of the Brenta river, which has been in the 17. / 18. century an important tourist/commercial route between Padua and Venice. We reach the heart of the Venetians Villas of the architects Palladio und Scamozzi.

7° DAY | Venice – Gondola and Palaces

Today we can relax leaving our bikes and stepping on a train from Abano to Venice. Guided tour of the city.

8° DAY 40 km | Padua – Treviso - Valdobbiadene

Guided tour in Padua, one of the oldest Italian cities, founded in 1184 A.Ch. by the Trojans. Afer we go by bus to Treviso and from here, by bike to Valdobbiadene, where we can taste the original Prosecco DOC, visiting a wine cellar.

9° DAY | Verona - Vipiteno

Guided tour in Verona with the roman Arena (where each Summer many Opera peaces take place), the charming centre and the romantic places where the love of Romeo and Juliet grew up. Last but not least, we go further and reach the typical Vipiteno.
